Imagine staying at a magical retreat center that was featured on House Hunters International! Vida Asana Eco-Retreat and Yoga Center is located just 90 minutes from San Jose Airport in beautiful Playa Hermosa de Jaco, Costa Rica. The tropical setting between the rainforest and the ocean creates the perfect setting to explore and restore.

HERE’S WHAT’S INCLUDED
7 nights lodging
One group shuttle to and from the airport on the day your retreat starts and ends
Yoga mats, straps, blocks and bolsters so you can pack light
3 fresh organic (whenever possible) vegetarian or pescatarian meals per day with the exception of one group dinner in town where each participant will pay for their meal
Multi-level morning and evening yoga classes which focus on honoring and empowering your body
One afternoon will be dedicated to focus classes: 1) Alignment and Engagement and 2) The Warrior Within(advanced)
One afternoon we will focus on chakras, ayurvedic and doshas
Join us for a leisurely hike at Mirador, a local lookout point made from modern ruins and reclaimed by local artists. This hike gives you an opportunity to truly focus on the earth beneath your feet feeling grounded and focused.
Sangria Night (non-alcoholic beverages available)
Access to the entire Vida Asana 1.5 acre facility
Featuring pool, jungle shala, hammocks, bikes to venture to the beach, lounge, gift shop, restaurant, and gardens
Purified water and organic fair trade coffee
Concierge services (booking of tours, adventures, massages, transportation)
Anyone not wanting to participate in any of the group activities is free to explore the area! This is YOUR retreat!

ACCOMMODATIONS:
All rooms are equipped with AC, ceiling fans, mini-frig, private bathrooms, hot water and organic hair and body products and wifi. Occupancy is limited so get your reservation in to ensure room availability. All reservations are based on double occupancy. There are a couple rooms with triple occupancy but they are the same price. Single occupancy accommodations are already taken.

Early Bird Special March 15-September 30, 2018: $1295 Non-refundable deposit of $175 due at time of booking. 50% of registration (minus deposit) is due by November 1, 2018, final payment must be made by December 1, 2018

CANCELLATION POLICY
Once registered, in the unfortunate event that you have to cancel, a refund of 75% of your payment, less your deposit, will be refunded up to 90 days before the retreat begins. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy will apply, with no exceptions. Unfortunately, costs already incurred to reserve the retreat center make this necessary. To insure yourself further, it is recommended you purchase travel insurance.

ABOUT YOUR HOSTESS, MARLA HELTON
Practicing yoga for over 16 years and finding a growing desire to share it with others led Marla to a beautiful ashram in the mountains of Colorado where she completed her 200 hours of yoga teacher training at Shoshoni in 2013. Classically trained in Shambava yoga, Marla enjoys learning about all the disciplines of yoga and combining those to fit her own unique style of teaching. With over 400 hours of teacher training, Marla’s current passion is yoga for healthy aging, yoga as therapy, and functional anatomy.
