Jen Mullholand
Jen Mullholand, RYT-500, E-RYT-200 is a Seattle-based yoga teacher with a strong love for learning and educating people about all yoga has to offer. Jen has been practicing yoga for 17 years and teaching for the past 12. Jen taught for nine years in Chicago, until marriage and her new husband’s job moved her to Seattle in 2012. She has spent the last decade-plus studying with some of the best teachers in the country: Aadil Palkhivala, Tias Little, Gabriel Halpern, Christina Sell and Noah Maze.
Jen’s classes are a playful, insightful and fun-filled experience. She encourages students to explore their physical boundaries while honoring their limitations in a safe space. She is inspired primarily by the Iyengar and Ashtanga traditions, with some classes being inspired by the flow of breath and movement, others focused on pose work and propwork. The work on the mat is always deeply informed by her anatomical studies and blended with philosophy that is applicable to daily life in the modern era. Jen’s practice and teaching is also inspired by her newfound love of Crossfit. She loves to dish out a good challenge and incorporates different modalities of movement into her classes.
