At first, I fell in love with the physical practice of yoga the very first class I took at a gym, I realized that this was a discipline that I could nurture for the rest of my life. Little did I know, there was so much more than just the physical side of yoga. It creeps up on you! So hereĀ I am, practicing a couple times a week and that turned into 4, then 5, then, well, everyday! In 2010, I earned my 200 hour certification.

My teaching style is a mix of the spiritual and the physical aspects of yoga. I strive to give the practitioner a break from an often over stimulated world. Students can expect to be challenged physically and mentally. I tune into the energy in the room and offer options for students at all levels of their practice

.

It is my hope that you go through class connected to your breath, whether that means laying in child’s pose the entire class or attempting handstands. Once the breath ~ mind connection is accomplished, that is when the true magic of yoga appears.

I hope that you will sweat, laugh a little, let go of something and carry your practice with you. Yoga is not just what we do on our mats, but the way we make changes in our lives.
