I believe that life itself is a lesson to encourage us to grow in love and self awareness. I use my time on my yoga mat to practice for life. I have learned a lot about myself by noticing how I approach, respond, resist, and settle into my yoga practice and believe that our patterns show up in all aspects of our lives. Yoga offered me the space to figure out what was most important to me and provided me with the tools to transform the way I felt, both on the inside and out. It is my intention to provide a safe and inclusive space for others to find their way back to themselves and to offer the tools they need to experience themselves differently than they are able to elsewhere. I am relatable and warm and want to make others feel at home regardless of how much experience they have on their mats. I believe in whole hearted living, in getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, in growing and learning, in finding balance, in having gratitude, and in practicing peace as a state of mind. I have found that the more I practice these things on my mat, the more I am able to live them off my mat as well.

I like reading, hiking, swimming, sunshine, sarcasm and jumping on the trampoline with my kids.

I completed my 200 hr training in 2015, am Yoga Alliance certified, and have taught more than 1000 hrs. I have a deep interest in not only how things work but why they work and this has propelled me to continue my studies in anatomy, functional movement, breath technique, meditation, grief, depression, anxiety, and the mind-body-breath connection. I am currently one of only half a dozen Roll Model ® Method Practitioners in Western Canada. I love to learn in all of its forms and value the many ways I can learn from those I come into contact with through my work. Forming relationships and building community are by far the most rewarding aspects of what I do.
