Yoga is my passion and it is my pleasure to teach yoga to anyone willing to learn! No matter your age, size, and ability there is a yoga practice for you and I can help you find that. Yoga is a journey to the soul through the physical body. It is my goal to help you discover the joy of feeling good in your body; to feel strong, flexible, and full of life. Yoga is a practice and not about being perfect!

Here’s a little bit about my yoga journey:

I first found yoga 12 years ago while stationed in Hawaii as an Army linguist.  It wasn’t until 2008, after leaving the military and moving to Maryland, that I caught a serious case of the yoga “bug” and decided to take this practice to a deeper level. In 2011 I completed the 200-hour teacher training with Kim Manfredi at Charm City Yoga. Add to this a serious love for travel (fueled by the Army) and a few years working in the wine business and you can see where those influences come in (yoga retreats, wine and yoga classes, wine yoga and hiking, etc!)

Always a student, I believe the day you stop learning is the day the story ends. So I’ve never stopped learning.  I have trained with many leading teachers and currently draw inspiration from Dana Trixie Flynn, Elena Brower, and Dice Iida Klein. I am currently pursuing a 500-hour yoag teacher training concurrently with a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy at The Maryland Institute of Integrative Health.
